About this business
Opened in December 2022, TukTuk Saigon Restaurant is a Doha eatery devoted to Asian street food from Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar. Its founders set out to bring authentic Southeast Asian flavours to the city, and dishes are prepared by chefs from each of the three countries represented on the menu.
Vietnamese staples such as beef pho, banh mi and fresh rice paper rolls sit alongside Thai favourites including pad thai, pad kra pao and mango sticky rice, with Burmese dishes adding a less commonly found option in Qatar. Vegetarians are also catered for, with choices like tofu red curry and vegetable spring rolls. The casual setting echoes the lively atmosphere of Southeast Asian street stalls, making it suitable for quick lunches, relaxed dinners and takeaway. The restaurant opens from midday until late evening throughout the week, with slightly later hours on Fridays, and it has earned strong ratings from diners on international review platforms.
