About this business
Rasen Sports is a homegrown Qatari retailer focused on outdoor and adventure sports, sourcing products directly from manufacturers. Its flagship store is on Salwa Road in Doha, and the brand has several other branches, including outlets at The Pearl, Umm Salal and Old Doha Port.
Cycling is a major part of the business, and the shops carry bikes and components from brands such as Cannondale, GT, Kross, Rocky Mountain and Look. The wider range extends to running gear, camping equipment and watersports products, so the stores attract riders, runners and people heading out on desert or beach trips. Besides the physical shops, Rasen Sports sells through its own website, takes orders over WhatsApp and is available for delivery through the Snoonu app. Seasonal promotions, such as summer sales across all outlets, are announced on the company's Facebook page.
