About this business
LuLu Hypermarket in Barwa City is part of the LuLu chain, a large Gulf retailer with many stores across Qatar. The branch is inside the Barwa City residential development in the Mesaimeer area (Zone 56) and serves families living in and around Abu Hamour, Mesaimeer, Wukair, Al Wakra and the Industrial Area.
LuLu first opened a department store at Barwa City in May 2016. At launch the store covered around 80,000 square feet and was organised into LuLu Fashion, LuLu Connect for electronics and mobiles, and LuLu Celebrate, with shop-in-shop counters for watches, perfumes and phones. A separate 10,000-square-foot children's zone with soft play, bumper cars, video games and rides was part of the launch, making the store a family destination for the township.
