Hertz Doha Airport

Hertz Doha Airport is the Hertz car rental desk at Hamad International Airport, serving travellers who want a self-drive car as soon as they land in Qatar. The counter is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and forms part of a wider Hertz presence in the country that also includes locations such as the Pearl Jeep Showroom and Al Khor.

The branch mainly rents economy and compact cars, with models such as the Hyundai Accent, Ford Figo and Ford Fusion among those commonly booked. Visitors need a passport and a valid national driving licence held for at least one year; licences from outside the GCC are only valid for seven days, after which a temporary Qatari licence is required. Cars are supplied with a full tank and should be returned full unless the prepaid fuel option is chosen. One-way rentals can be arranged subject to location, and late returns beyond a 59-minute grace period incur extra charges.
