About this business
Roots Hair & Beauty Salon was founded in 2015 by Debbie, a British resident of Doha for more than two decades, who wanted a salon that met the standards she was looking for herself. It operates from Rawdat Umm Lekhba in the Duhail area (Street 94, Zone 31) and describes itself as a British salon.
Colour is a speciality, particularly colour correction, alongside bespoke cuts including Sassoon techniques, extensions and Brazilian blowouts. Beauty treatments include facials, eyelash extensions, waxing, threading, manicures, pedicures, massage and reflexology. The team of over 20 international professionals works with brands such as Schwarzkopf, Wella and L'Oréal, and clients can request silent appointments if they prefer a quiet visit. The salon has won several OhLaLa awards since 2018. Directory listings show opening from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on most days, with an earlier Thursday close and Fridays off. The founder also hosts a Tuesday Ladies Group for expat women.
