About this business
Qatar Airways Medical Center is the airline's in-house staff clinic in Doha, set up to act as the first point of medical contact for Qatar Airways employees. It is not a public hospital; it is intended for staff and eligible dependants covered by the company's medical insurance.
The original centre opened on 3 February 2005 behind the Qatar Airways Tower, when it was inaugurated by then chief executive Akbar Al Baker with a small team of doctors and nurses. It provides outpatient consultations and initial assessments and refers patients on to hospitals and specialist clinics when further care is needed. Current map listings show the centre open Sunday to Thursday from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Staff should check internal company channels for up-to-date arrangements and eligibility.
