About this business
Gymkhana Qatar is the Doha outpost of the acclaimed London Indian restaurant of the same name, set within the Katara Hills resort, part of LXR Hotels & Resorts. The interior takes its cue from the members' clubs of colonial-era India, with a lodge-like atmosphere, an open kitchen and a rear terrace for outdoor dining.
The menu draws on the club and regional cooking of India, with grills, curries and sharing plates, and the MICHELIN Guide, which features the restaurant in its Qatar selection, highlights its good-value lunch offer and attentive service. The venue is alcohol-free, air-conditioned and handles its own bookings, so guests are asked to reserve directly with the restaurant. It is also available for delivery in selected areas through food apps, making it an option for both special dinners and more relaxed meals.
